This page explains what information Clip Finder handles and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

We may collect and use the following:

The original video URL you input and the derived video ID
Public video metadata from YouTube Data API Services (title, channel, publish date, thumbnails, etc.)
Original and clip-candidate video IDs, search timestamps, and related logs
Access logs (IP address, browser information, etc.)

2. Purpose of use

Collected information is used to:

Search and display clip videos related to the original video
Analyze usage for quality improvement and troubleshooting

3. Retention

Logs such as video IDs and search timestamps are stored for a reasonable period (around three months) for operations and analysis, then deleted or anonymized. The period may change as needed.

4. About YouTube / Google

Kirinuki Search uses YouTube Data API Services and only accesses public data on YouTube. The YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply.

We do not access your Google account information or private data.
